Red Cross Family Preparedness Kit

£  A tent , large plastics or tarpaulins for shelter

£  Extra cash
£  Whistle for each person on a necklace or bracelet
£  Rain gear
£   Work gloves
£  Household liquid bleach

£  Copies of personal documents (medication list and pertinent medical information, proof of address, deed/lease to home, passports, birth certificates, insurance policies)
£  Map of your area
£   Games and activities for children
£  Pet supplies (collar, leash, ID, food, carrier, bowl
£  Extra set of car keys and house keys
£  Inventory of valuable household items

£   Flashlight - Battery-powered or hand-cranked
£  Radio - Battery-powered or hand-cranked
£  Extra batteries
£  Two-way radios
£  Can opener
£   Tools/supplies for securing your home

£  Pliers, wrench (to turn off gas and water)
